My First Wedding

I got to go to my first ever wedding! Daddy's friend, Calvin Riggleman, who he served with in Iraq got married! The wedding was held at the coolest farm and I got to see so many animals! I loved it! Unfortunately it rained the entire time, and as Mommy said, rain and 16 month olds don't always mix the best in terms of trying to stay clean!!! :) I guess I am a bit of a tomboy though because I had an awesome time! Here are a few pics from the event.

In case I hadn't told you before, I love to read (or look at the pictures...details, details...). I also love to have everyone else read to me. Mommy got some cute shots of me reading my books on the fireplace, my special reading spot!

Happy Birthday Grandma Maggie!

Happy Birthday, Grandma Maggie!! What a fun weekend I had. On Friday, Mommy and I went to Maryland and met Grandma Maggie at Arundel Mills Mall (apparently my Mommy loves to shop!), then I had a slumber party with Auntie Amy, Uncle Chris, and Nicholas! Boy was that a ton of fun! The next morning Uncle Chris took me for a jog in his jogging stroller. I had an awesome time and really chilled and enjoyed the scenery. Then I visited my Great Uncle Eddie and my Great Grandma Fran for lunch. After that I took a quick nap at Grandma Maggie's house. Mommy and Grandma were not sure why I wasn't falling asleep very quickly. Little did they know...I had reached out of my pack and play and turned on the golf channel...and somehow muted the TV as well. Everyone thought that was really funny, but I was quite pleased with myself. Then that night we went out to dinner for Grandma Maggie's birthday. Whew...what a fun weekend!!!!!

Wrapping Paper and Crayons

What a fun day I had with Mommy! I got to help her wrap a gift (well actually, I just carried around the wrapping paper) and then I got to color with crayons! I felt like such a big girl, even though I really don't have the hang yet of this whole coloring business. Mommy got some sweet shots of me coloring!!

Guess Where Daddy Took Me???....

...To my first gun show! Mommy had to work today and can you believe Daddy took me to a gun show with our good friends Brett Nelson and Roderick Hunnicutt?? As most of you all know, my Daddy has quite a love of firearms and all things manly, and he hopes to make a sharpshooter out of me one day! I had so much fun and the best part of all was getting to go on such a fun date with my Daddy. :)

My Purse

So Mommy just wanted you to check me out. My great-grandmother Frannie sent me this cool new purse/tote bag! I cannot tell you how much I loved it! I walked all around with it and here is a pic of me before we went to lunch with Grandma Maggie. Please note my pig tails and new fall shoes! My feet are really growing!!!

Hot Water Heaters...

So my Uncle Mark is a jack of all trades!! Not only is he super cool...he knows how to fix anything in the house! He came down today and put in a brand new hot water heater!! Mommy and Daddy were so thankful they did not have to pay a plumber!!! Here I am reading with my Uncle Mark.


And in case you could not tell before...I have the coolest Daddy ever! Not only does he always play with me and do cool stuff...he even thought to make the water heater box into a cool new fort!!!...complete with cut out windows! Needless to say, I love it! Mommy is trying to love it, but would like the giant box out of her living room. What a party pooper!!!

Fun Times

Boy am I a Daddy's girl! Here is a pic of Daddy and I on the living room couch. This is one of my favorite activities...snuggling up with my Daddy and a good book!!!


Okay so clearly I am a girly girl and have already discovered the joys of talking on the phone! I grab my Mom's whenever I can and have lately been opening it up, putting it to my ear, and saying, "hello!!!"

Pig Tails!!!

So I am officially a big girl and have started wearing pig tails. You may say, "with what hair?" I assure you that my mane continues to grow and Mommy grabs what she can to make my little pigtails. Here are some funny shots of me modeling my new do!!!

So apparently my Mom thinks I'm pretty cute and even took pictures of me today while I ate my snack! Not only was I eating at the big girl table, I also had a secure/almost dropping/choking hold of my dollbaby.
