Can you believe it has been a year??

Can you believe I was ever this small???
I am officially one year old today!!! Mommy and Daddy say that they cannot believe how much the time has flown by and how much of a blessing I have been to them. Thank you to everyone for all your support and kindness during my first year of life. Mommy will continue to update you on my new adventures through this blog! Enjoy!

I got to go to Chuckie Cheese to celebrate!! I had the best time ever and Grammy and Grandpa were in town for it!!! Check out my pic with my new boyfriend. I can't believe my family took pics of me on my first date. I like to call this the old "pretend to be driving while having one hand around the shoulders" move!!

My First Birthday Party!!!

Today I got to go to my first ever birthday party!! I can't tell you how much fun I had!!! As you can see from my picture above I was really excited and appropriately dressed in my "1st Birthday Girl" shirt! I was such a good girl at my party. I was pretty shy and sucked my thumb when everyone sang to me...but then I got a taste of the icing on my special cupcake...and there was no going back!!! As soon as I tasted it I started clapping and smiling. Guess I like sweets! It was so great to have my family come for the party. I can't wait to do this again next year!!!

I am an official walker!!! It is the most exciting thing ever!!! I have so much fun cruising around the house. Here are some recent pics of me!

Where's my Head??

I almost forgot to tell you all that I have started taking steps! Yes, that's right, I am getting to be a big girl! I can take up to about 6-7 steps at a time, but lots of times I fall after just a couple. Mommy and Daddy say that I am so cute when I do it! Mommy and Daddy have got me on the video camera walking, but not so many pictures of it. Here is one pic though from today of me standing and getting ready to take off. Mommy says she will take some better ones of me walking.

Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!

Today was Mommy's first ever Mother's Day!! Daddy got Mommy a yummy bagel and Starbucks for breakfast and then we took her to Applebee's for dinner! I had so much fun celebrating with her! Mommy was excited with the gifts we gave her. I helped Daddy pick out jewelry that is in the shape of BEANS...just like me!!! :) Daddy thought it would be special for Mommy to have jewelry that is like the name that he calls me! Apparently Mommy was excited because some girl named Tiffany gave Daddy that jewelry to give Mommy. :) Here are the pics from our day.

Mommy and Daddy's 5K

Mommy and Daddy ran in the Police Week 5K this morning! They had so much fun and are getting ready to run in the Army 10 Miler this October!

So one of my main goals in life is to get Mommy's cell phone and crawl around with it. Well now Mommy thinks it is so funny because when she tells me to "talk to your friends," I put the phone right up to my ear and smile!!! She thinks this makes me really funny. :) Although you can't see the phone too good, it's there by my ear!! She just wonders where I have learned to talk on the phone from??????? hahaha. :)
