I am 2 months old today!

Well today I turned two months old and had to visit my pediatrician, Dr. Loving. I now weigh 11 lb. 3 oz and I am almost 23 inches long. That's pretty tall for my age. I guess I will take after Mom and Dad. Unfortunately I had to get 4 vaccine shots today, which definitely upset me. I won't let it get me down though because I am so excited to leave for vacation tomorrow to visit Grammy and Grandpa Bunn in South Carolina! Road trip here I come!!

Toys

I love my gym mat! Here are pics of me holding onto toys while I play on my mat. It was sort of cheating though because Mommy put them in my hand and I just have a really strong grip!!!

Lunch Date

On Monday, 7/23/07, Mommy and I got to have lunch with Mommy's friend (who she has known since the 6th grade), Lisa Moreland. I had so much fun and Lisa was so sweet to me. She gave me the most beautiful dress that I cannot wait to grow into. Here is a pic of me with Lisa. :)

Marine Corps Cookout

On Saturday, 7/21/07, I got to meet a lot of Daddy's Marine Corps buddies at a cookout hosted by Jackie and Josh Shepherd! What a great time I had! I got to hang out a little bit outside before I tuckered out and fell asleep.

My First Slumber Party!

So on Thursday, 7/19/07, I got to have my first sleepover! I went to Grandma Maggie's house for the night with Mommy. What an adventure. :) I slept in a "pack and play" for the night, which is a lot different than my crib at home, but I did quite well! I had so much fun seeing Great Grandma Fran and Aunt Amy too! I was definitely tired and ready to sleep after my busy day. I can't wait for my long sleepover next week when I get to go see Grammy and Grandpa Bunn in South Carolina!

Socks

Thanks to the Forman family, I have the coolest socks around! My feet are finally starting to fit into them, so mom couldn't resist taking a pic of me today in my ballerina socks!!

Tuesday, July 17

Today I got to go visit Daddy while he was working and have lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. Mom came too and we met up with Chris and Amanda McLoughlin. I love those guys. Mom got cool pics of me today while I was on tummy time on my lilypad mat. I am starting to hold my head up really well. :)

Sunday, July 15

Today I went to church with mom and dad. Then we went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. I was so good and stayed asleep all during lunch! When I got home I played in my swing chair for a bit, and as Mommy was going to get me out, I started smiling, so she got the camera. My outfit was a gift from Becky Graves and her mom, Darlene!

Saturday, July 14

Today I got to go to Dominic Morello's 2nd Birthday Party. Boy was that fun. I got to see my good friend Ava, and mom and dad got to hang out with Kristen and Chris. Here are some pics from the party. Boy was I tired when I got home!

I'm an official blogger!

Hello to all my family and friends! I decided to create a blog so that you will know all the cool things I am up to and see pictures of me, my mom, my dad, and my best friend and brother, Fred. In only 2 days I will be 7 weeks old. Mommy says that time sure is flying! I don't go for another check-up until July 26, but mommy says I probably weigh about 10 pounds now. I sure do like my mommy's milk! I am getting very long and have to wear quite a few things that are size 3-6 months. I think I will probably be tall like my mommy and daddy. In case you haven't noticed, I also look a lot like my daddy.
I will try to catch you up on a few things that I have been doing. Twice this week I rolled over while on tummy time. The first time it happened, mommy thought it was a fluke, but then she saw me kicking my legs and trying really hard and I eventually rolled over! Also, for the past 3 nights I have slept about 11 hours and have only woke up once to feed! Mommy seems really happy about that, but I'm not sure why. :) My days are spent visiting my friends and family, and SHOPPING! Mommy says that I am good at it already.
To recap this week:
On Monday we went to see Amy Dunne and had a great time at lunch and at the outlets.
On Tuesday we visited my Great Uncle Eddie, my great grandma Fran, grandma Maggie, Uncle Chris, Aunt Amy, and Nicholas. Boy was that a treat. I was pooped when I got home.
On Wednesday we went to lunch with my good friends Sage and Blake Hearn (they are babies like me) and their mommy, Dee, who works with my mommy. Then mommy took me to Snowden to show me to her co-workers. I don't know why people like to look at me all the time. :)
Today we went and had lunch with my other good friends, Ava and Dominic Morello. Mommy likes to hang out with their mommy, Kristen. Then mommy took me to BJ's to buy wipes (apparently I use a lot) and I fell asleep in the grocery cart.
Boy this has been a busy week. I am so excited because in only 2 weeks I get to see Grammy and Grandpa Bunn in South Carolina. It will be my first vacation and first road trip. Mommy says they are very excited to see me. :)
